01A large first-time field makes the admin plan worth rehearsing
FETRI expects more than 3,300 athletes and says 57.3% are entering their first IRONMAN-brand event. Before travelling, make a single folder for your QR, ID and accepted licence. A race number is assigned at athlete check-in, so a missing advance bib number does not by itself mean a missing entry.

02Saturday has two different deadlines
Athlete registration ends at 14:00 on Saturday 3 October; bike and bag check-in runs from 14:00 to 19:00. Treat those as separate appointments. For Sunday, plan to finish transition tasks before its 07:40 closure, then join the swim group appropriate to your expected time.
02 / YOUR DISTANCE
