BEFORE YOU MAKE PLANS

Check your entry first.

The organiser-linked 2026 registration page is open; the rules set 18 October at 23:59 as the deadline, or earlier if full. Check your entered format. All clocks here are Canary Islands local time, one hour behind mainland Spain on race day.

2026-10-04 / RACE SIGNAL

01

A short-distance race, with an older Half description still online

The 2026 rules and registration offer Olympic, Supersprint and Olympic relay. Generic homepage text still mentions Half, and the distance pages retain older headings. Use your confirmed 2026 entry; do not build a Half plan from those older pages.

02

Confirm your start before planning departure

The programme lists Olympic/relay at 08:00 and Supersprint at 08:10, while the rules list 08:30 and 08:00. The check-in closing time also differs. We show both published versions, not a guessed final start. Friday bib collection and the 19:00 briefing agree. All clocks are Canary Islands local time.

03

Open the road plan dated 24 October 2026

The organiser has a current road PDF internally dated 24 October 2026, but its programme still links a file dated 25 October 2025 under a 2026 label. The current map covers Avenida de las Playas and LZ-40 restrictions; its overview and detailed Avenida timings also differ. Use the current file and confirm final access. No older course geometry is republished.

The rules’ event/relay description specifies 1,500 / 40 / 10, but its Olympic swim subsection says 400 m. Confirm the swim and final course; older 2023 files are not verified 2026 geometry.

The 2026 rules confirm 400 m swimming and 2.5 km running; the exact bike distance is not clearly confirmed there. Do not silently import 11 km from the older course page.

04 / READY FOR THIS RACE

A few things to do now.

Use the race details above to finish your own travel, kit and supporter plan.

  1. 01

Reserve Friday for bib collection and the 19:00 briefing at Plaza de las Naciones. Saturday bib pickup needs organiser approval.

  2. 02

Confirm your final start and check-in closure before filling the morning plan; the organiser’s two current timetables disagree.

  3. 03

Drafting is allowed in Olympic and Supersprint; handlebar extensions are prohibited. The rules list no bike-course aid station: prepare your own bottles.

  4. 04

Use the verified 2026 road plan for travel and the last walk. Exact entrances and parking are still pending; use Canary Islands local time.

  5. 05

Choose a supporter meeting outside transition. The programme lists bike collection from 11:15; confirm access and timing at the briefing.
